INSPECTION

INSPECTION

1. INSPECT HEATER RESISTANCE OF HEATED OXYGEN SENSORS

(a) Disconnect the oxygen sensor connector.

(a) Disconnect the oxygen sensor connector.

(b) Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between terminal +B and HT.

Resistance: 11 - 16 W at 20C (68F)

If the resistance is not as specified, replace the sensor.

Torque: 44 N·m (450 kgf·cm, 32 ft·lbf) for sensor 1 20 N·m (200 kgf·cm, 14 ft·lbf) for sensor 2

(c) Reconnect the oxygen sensor connector.

2. INSPECT OPERATION OF HEATED OXYGEN SENSORS (See pages DI-106 and DI-138 )
